Taylor Sheridan‘s upcoming Paramount+ series “Landman” has added four new series regulars, Variety has learned exclusively.
Kayla Wallace (“When Calls The Heart”), frequent Sheridan collaborator James Jordan (“Yellowstone”) Mark Collie (“Nashville”) and Paulina Chávez (“The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia”) have all joined the series alongside previously announced lead Billy Bob Thornton and fellow series regulars Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph and Jacob Lofland.
“Landman” is based on the podcast “Boomtown” and is set in West Texas, specifically the world of oil rigs. The series is officially described as “an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”

Wallace is repped by Alchemy Entertainment, Play Management, and Goodman Genow.
Jordan will play Dale Bradley, said to be “a petroleum engineer and a blue-collar bear of a man who manages and works with roughnecks in the oil fields. He’s also Tommy Norris’ (Thornton) roommate.”
Jordan is repped by Elevate Entertainment, Artists & Representatives, and Jamie Freed Management.
Collie will play Sheriff Joeberg, described as, aptly enough, “a West Texas sheriff.” Collie is repped by CAA.
Chávez will play Ariana, “a young mother whose family has suffered a misfortune.”
Chávez is repped by Industry Entertainment, CESD Talent Agency, and Felker Toczek.
“Landman” is co-created and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace. Sheridan executive produces under his Bosque Ranch Productions banner, which is currently under a rich overall deal at Paramount Global. David Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari also executive produce via 101 Studios. Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay executive produce with Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch for Imperative Development LLC, and J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly also executive produce. Peter Feldman serves as co-executive producer. MTV Entertainment Studios is producing the series.
