The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said nobody has the right to announce the results of the Edo governorship primary election except Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State. In a statement on Saturday, Felix Morka, APC spokesperson, said the public should disregard any results announced by “unauthorised persons”.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is reportedly in a closed-door meeting with governors elected under the opposition party to deliberate on pressing issues ahead of the 2023 polls. Naija News learnt that the meeting which started at about 2:30 PM in Abuja today was aimed at addressing issues surrounding the candidate’s choice of running mate.
